Susan L. Kelley, M.D.

Medical Oncologist

Susan L. Kelley, M.D., is a medical oncologist who has been developing drugs in oncology and immunology for over 30 years.  Her pharmaceutical career includes management roles in clinical drug development at Bristol-Myers Squibb and Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals, where her most recent role was Vice President Global Oncology Clinical Development and Therapeutic Area Head- Oncology. She also served as Chief Medical Officer of The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (The MMRF). Since 2011, she has served as an independent consultant in the field of oncology drug strategic development for multiple biotechnology companies and has served as an Independent Board Director at numerous biotechnology companies including her current roles at Deciphera Pharmaceuticals, Ideaya Bioscience and Daré Biosciences (formerly Cerulean Pharma). Dr. Kelley joined the Entrepreneur-in-Residence advisory group within the Yale University Office of Cooperative Research in 2020.
