Thomas Leung
Chief Financial Officer
Before joining A2 Bio, Thomas was the chief financial officer at Adverum Biotechnologies, a NASDAQ-listed gene therapy company where he led the finance and business development functions and helped raise $400 million in capital. Prior to that, he served as vice president, business operations, at Counsyl, Inc., a genetic screening company acquired by Myriad Genetics, Inc., where he held leadership roles in finance, strategy, billing operations and sales operations from 2013 to 2019. Before Counsyl, Thomas was a private equity investor at TPG Capital in San Francisco and Hong Kong, where he was responsible for identifying investment opportunities and executing acquisitions and financings. Mr. Thomas Leung began his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley & Co. He holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and graduated summa cum laude in biomedical engineering and economics from Yale University, where he was the recipient of the Arthur Twining Hadley Prize.
